Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between SpeedTown Express and Kula Sports Performance?

SpeedTown Express (STE) was established in the Summer of 2023 by Coach Kula, owner of Kula Sports Performance. STE locations are satellite branches of Kula Sports Performance (KSP) spread throughout Colorado and Texas to bring athletes the same training found at KSP locations. STE utilizes the same proven methods and technologies of KSP with the goal to develop more confident athletes, allowing them to succeed in their sporting and exercise pursuits for a lifetime. Find all locations here.

What packages are offered at SpeedTown Express?

At STE we offer 3 training packages, 8 force plate packages, and 3 Speed Stretch packages. Force plate and Speed Stretch packages often accompany a training package, but not necessary. You can find training packages here, force plate packages here, and Speed Stretch packages here.

What are force plates?

At SpeedTown Express we utilize force plates to monitoring your readiness to train / play your sport, compare you to your peers, and identify your risk of injury using research supported insights. Force plates are sensitive scales that collect 1000 datapoints per second. The Hawkin Dynamics software reports the calculated metrics such as force, acceleration, power, and more. Our sport science team gathers these calculated metrics, compares them to the STE database, and combines them with decades of knowledge to generate custom SpeedTown Express reports that make sense to an athlete. Learn about our packages here.

Why are training packages 3-month commitments?

When our staff at STE works with an athlete, they commit their time, energy, and lifetime of training knowledge to bring out the best each one. We ask the same of each athlete that walks through the doors at STE. A 3-month commitment is the minimum time it takes to see progress towards your training and speed goals.
